The Studio 519 catalogue Myšlenková dílna (Thought Workshop) was created in collaboration with graphic designers Marek Nedelka and Jan Novák. It won one of the awards in the 55th edition of the national competition for the Most Beautiful Book of the Year.
In Myšlenková dílna you'll find a portfolio of our projects. Die-cut segments create a haptic index that makes it easy to navigate the four scales our work is divided into: millimetres, centimetres, metres and kilometres. Each project then takes you through the design process, from the initial idea through testing various shape, material and colour options, all the way to the finished result. We show that a designer's work always involves technical, aesthetic and ergonomic aspects. The book is, in its own way, a workshop manual.
