In Krnov, public space is being brought to life with landscape architecture installations and interventions right through until September.
The ambition of the Landscape festival is to draw attention to certain aspects of life in the city, spark debate and put current issues on the table. One such issue is, without doubt, the quality of life of our older fellow citizens.
We were glad to get involved, and we fitted the Dům s pečovatelskou službou (sheltered housing facility) in Krnov with two Leva double cubes, specially adapted for users with reduced mobility. Now not only the residents of the care home can sit comfortably outside, sheltered from direct sun, with a view of the river Opava and its surroundings. We're grateful for the positive feedback and suggestions for improvement, and glad that the town of Krnov wants to keep our cubes in place permanently.
