Shoots of evergreen shrubs, fragrant conifers, hydrangeas, heathers and ornamental grasses, plus autumn fruits. On Saturday 17 October, Minipole will host a workshop making door wreaths that will last right through to Advent. It's led by florist Blanka Dreiseitelová from the Pletence flower studio.
The wreaths will be built on a base of evergreen shrub shoots, conifers, hydrangeas, heathers and ornamental grasses. To these will be added pine cones, berries and other fruits of colourful autumn, plus perhaps a fragrant stash of dried summer flowers.
Under the tutor's guidance, each participant will tie their own autumn door wreath. The price includes floristry materials, a straw base and binding wire.
