A designer, co-founder and managing director of the Czech technology company IONT tech. He founded it together with Tomáš Pánek in 2021 with the aim of developing and manufacturing charging stations for electric cars and e-bikes in the Czech Republic. In designing them, he brings together technical solutions, simple design and the principles of sustainability. The products are made from locally available materials, have a modular construction, and are designed with repairability and further technological development in mind, so the whole unit never needs replacing. IONT tech has won several awards for innovation, sustainability and design, including the iF Design Award 2025 for the e:bike BAR station. Jaroslav Kratochvíl will also present one of the charging stations at Design Harvest.
