A meeting with an exceptional musician who has spent more than 30 years shaping the Czech music scene with her distinctive approach. This is Lenka Dusilová, nine-time winner of the Anděl Award. At WiFič VEN! she'll offer a unique behind-the-scenes look into her creative work.
In this talk and hands-on workshop, she'll share her experience of a musical path built without art schools – but with plenty of inner discipline, courage and a hunger to discover. She speaks openly about successes and dead ends, about dealing with stage fright, mistakes, finding her own path and freedom in her work.
The technical part will take you into her creative toolkit – working with the voice as an instrument, effects, samples, the looper and concert arrangements. She'll show how improvisation and imagination shape her musical language, and offer a chance to join in some collective creating.
The workshop is aimed not only at musicians but at anyone interested in a distinctive approach to creative work. Capacity is unfortunately limited – the booking method and conditions will be announced in August.
