Alternative hip-hop, the setting of a new café, and the opening of a plein-air exhibition. That's the shape of the next instalment in the Zvykejte si series. On Thursday 18 September, Hey Yendo & Rainer will play at the Pole designu campus. The concert starts at 20:00, but at 18:00 there's already a vernissage for the plein-air exhibition by the Faculty of Multimedia Communications, UTB Zlín.
The aim of the Zvykejte si project is to turn Pole designu, on the Egoé campus, into a place with a dramaturgically distinctive programme – music you won't hear on every corner, exhibitions, and author readings. Last year's first edition ran across four evenings, and this year follows a similar format. Past events have featured the likes of Zrní, Květy and retro DJ Ventolin.
What it's about
Hey Yendo (Jan Ševčík) is a rapper and lyricist who brings personal stories and themes of travel and the search for meaning into his work. Producer Rainer (Martin Kožucharov) is behind a sound that blends alternative hip-hop, glitch-pop and trip-hop. Together they released their debut Letenky do Psychedel (2023), followed in May 2025 by the new record Jeden úsměv nestačí, a more personal and more focused release.
Tickets are available in advance for 120 Kč, and will cost 150 Kč on the door. Children under 15 get in free.
