He's not just a singer and lyricist with 13 wins at the Anděl awards. He's also a naturalist, traveller, and author of distinctive texts about the world around us. In his programmes and books he combines an eye for detail, a knowledge of nature, and the ability to turn observation into a literary image full of connections. In the TV series Krajina Dana Bárty he searched for the links between nature and the human footprint, while in the book Některé nevinnosti světa he captured his view of everyday moments of contact with nature.
