We're putting the finishing touches to building F2 and its surroundings right now. During WiFič VEN!, two different sides of the programme will meet here – an exhibition offering a trip back to the roots of industrial design, and a club stage with concerts.
The Doba sádrová exhibition returns to the period from the 1940s to the early 1990s, when a product's shape wasn't born on a monitor but directly under the designers' hands. Back then, clay and plaster played the role of today's 3D software. The exhibition also reveals the DNA of design at Egoé, which grows out of the tradition of the Zlín school of design. The exhibition doesn't end inside the building. Striking exhibits extend into the surrounding area, such as a Zetor Crystal tractor or a Tatra 603 car.
The Tatra also lends its name to Klub 603, a space for smaller concerts, talks, lectures and film screenings. During WiFič VEN!, the metal band MindMine and Yasha 96 will play here on Friday, with WYFE and MAT 213 on Saturday. F2 thus offers a journey from plaster models and icons of Czechoslovak industrial design all the way to contemporary music.
