Design Harvest Talks
Friday, 18:00
Family firm Plastia has spent more than thirty years in the Vysočina region making planters, composters and other containers for caring for nature, exporting to over fifty countries. Its owner Lenka Novotná sits down for a conversation with Daniel Pavlík and Jan Kopřiva from studio WRKS, who design new products for Plastia. Their collaboration traces the whole process, from the first idea through finding the right material and production technology to full-scale manufacturing. Together they're behind products such as the self-watering Berberis planters and the Urbalive home bio-waste bin, winner of a Red Dot Award.
