Hip-hop legend
Prago Union is a Prague hip-hop band that's been going for more than twenty years. Prago Union frontman Kato has been on the music scene since the second half of the nineties, when he fronted the group Chaozz. The Prago Union band was founded in 2002 by Kato together with DJ Skupla, with Dědek occasionally appearing on the mic and DJ Büphe as a second live DJ. Nowadays Kato performs with DJ Ramel and a live band made up of Ondra Hauser (bandleader and bass), Tony Dlapa (guitar), Jen Hovorka (keys) and Marek Urbánek (drums). Prago Union has nine studio albums to their name, five compilations of otherwise unreleased tracks and one special live recording from a concert. For their work, Prago Union has previously won two Anděl Awards, specifically for the records Dezorient Express and V Barvách. The band released their latest record, tellingly titled Zvukoloď, in the summer of 2024.
