Horňácký večer s degustací vín

Voices from Velká nad Veličkou meet Moravian vineyard wines at Design Field. The women's choir Oskoruša and the Horňácko band led by first violinist Martin Kománek bring the songs of Horňácko in their natural strength, without unnecessary embellishment.

Rok na Horňácku — the programme takes us through a whole year the way songs, customs and traditions once accompanied it in Horňácko: from Advent and Christmas through Fašank to spring, summer and the songs tied to fieldwork, through to wedding customs and feasts. Monika guides the evening with informal commentary. The programme runs for roughly 60 minutes.

The musical part of the evening is complemented by a guided tasting of Moravian wines, led by Pavel Uretšlégr from the Wine Institute. The tasting of eight wines showcases the most widespread varieties in the Czech Republic, from wineries consistently highly rated by the Guide to the Best Wines of the Czech Republic.
